Born in Peace River, Alberta, Kevin has been a coach for 25+ years.  He has spent time coaching in various leagues, most recently at Grant MacEwan University and previously with NAIT, Junior B, M15 AAA, Bantam AAA, NAS AAA Summer Hockey teams.  Kevin was also part of the Parkland Hockey Academy School Program in Spruce Grove for 13 years as a teacher and lead instructor both on and off the ice. 

Kevin is well known for his dedication to the sport of Floorball where he has taken many Alberta players to the Canada Cup in Toronto.  The Parkland Warriors Floorball Club has won a number of championships over the years in both the Bantam and Midget divisions.  He also was fortunate to go to Europe to coach with the Canadian National U18 Men’s team.

As for on and off the ice, Kevin’s passion for the sport of hockey has been demonstrated with athletes of all ages.  He has been able to advise numerous elite athletes in various areas of the game, allowing these athletes to strive towards personal goals and earn success at the next level.  He is a tremendous team player and believes that an athlete’s best interests must be at the forefront when advising and mentoring each one through the recruitment and developing process.      

When Kevin is away from the rink, he enjoys spending time with his family at the lake, various water sports, taking in the great outdoors and cooking amazing meals for friends and family.
