Team Training

On-ice team training for teams and associations

Strong teams are built on strong practices. MCN runs on-ice sessions for teams and whole associations. We work with players and coaches together, so the whole group improves.

How Team Training Works

Built around what your team needs

We build our sessions around what your team needs. That might be a one-time practice, a weekly program, or coaching across a full season.

We focus on the key details in each skill and coach the players and the coaching staff at the same time. To get the most out of the ice, we offer pre-practice plans and a dressing-room discussion with the team about 15 minutes before the session starts.

Small Group and Team Sessions

From 4 to 18 players

Every session is tailored to the team’s needs and skill level. We coach the core parts of the game.

Shooting

Wrist shots, cross-body shots, punch-outs, and more.

Puck Control

Precise puck placement, angling, protection, and creative attacks.

Passing

Hard, crisp passing and receiving, plus saucer passing.

Skating

Edge control, crossovers, pivots, and explosive movement.

Body Checking

Angling, board safety, open-ice awareness, bumping, and stick checking.

Support for Coaches

We work with coaches, not just players

Good coaching multiplies across a whole team. That is why we work with coaches, not just players.

We share practice plans, teach the details behind each drill, and help coaches deliver a clear, consistent message. The goal is a team that keeps improving long after we leave the ice.

Evaluations for Teams

Take the pressure off roster decisions

Building a roster is one of the hardest jobs in hockey. We help take the pressure off. We send a representative to give your association, club, or team an honest, unbiased opinion on players.

Straight feedback you can use to make confident decisions.
